How to make a Tamer in 2 days.
Creating a Tamer in 48 hours ~ by Osmo
So, I wanted to see how I could make my tamer as quick as possible, and I succeeded in making him within 48 hours of creation.
These are the steps i took:
Step One: Creation
Create your character with the following skills:
50 Animal Taming
49 Magic Resist
1 Musicianship
And the following stats:
25 Dex
20 Int
Rest go to Str
*note this is for a specific build (Taming, Lore, Magery, Resist, Vet, Music, Peace.) If you want a different build, change the starting skills or the skills we work in the Guide.*
Start in Jhellom City.
Step Two: Getting Started
First what we have to do is lock all your skills except Animal Taming (even Animal Lore). The reason we do this is because it is easier to raise skills the further we are from the cap. Also we lock animal lore because we gain more from one animal when we fail, and having no animal lore=lots of failures!
Then, go buy a horse with the money you started with to have a fast way around when hunting for animals to tame.
Once this is done we will start working on the skills. There is an order to working the skills. We will work based on difficulty to raise.
They are as follows:
Animal Taming
Magery/Resist
Music/Peacemaking
Vet
Step Tree: The Skills
Animal Taming:
We will start by taming small animals around the Jhellom Farms: Cougers and Gorillas, mostly until we hit a skill level of around 60ish (60-65). Then we will move to Deceit Ice Island (via friends gating or yourself on another character). Here we will tame Polar Bears and Snow Leopards until 70-75. Then we will move to taming White Wolves, until around 80-85. When we reach this point it gets easier. We now move to Delucia. Here you will tame Bulls. Tame them all the way to GM, you also can tame Frenzied Ostards.
To help with keeping the spawn new when in Delucia, I Recomend taming 3 Frenzied Ostards, which you use to kill the bulls after you have tamed them. Also cut the hides and drop them on the ground for the tailors! It helps keep them from killing bulls before you tame them. WE ALL CAN WORK TOGETHER! ;-)
You will GrandMaster (GM) Taming in no time.
Now lock Taming and unlock Magery, Meditation, and Resist.
Magery/Resist:
Go to the Mage shop and buy your Magery up. Now you will macro Fireball until about a 55-60 skill level. It's a very cheap way to raise it up. Then you will be using Energy Bolt until about 85. After this you will cast FS till you GM Magery and Resist.
The best way to macro this is to cast this on yourself over and over again and have a healer character macro-ing to heal youself over and over again.
Doing this you will GM Magery and Resist in about 9 hours. Resist may take a little longer though, but not much.
Now lock Magery and Resist and set Meditation to go down, and unlock Music and Peacemaking.
Music/Peace:
Get a ton of instruments, macro peacemaking on yourself and also playing the instrument. You should GM Music and Peace very fast.
Now lock Music and Peace. Unlock Vet.
Vet:
Get your pets and make them fight each other.
Get your bandaids ready and heal.
Try something like 2 bears because they dont take too much health off each other.
(The Above Vet was taken from "Skills Explained by Sunfire")
Now lock Vet, Unlock Arms lore.
Step Four: Stats
Now you need to macro your stats. I recomend macroing Arms Lore until it's maxed, then setting it to go down. Then unlock Eval- macro that to max. Keep doing this "the seesaw effect" one goes up one goes down. Rinse and repeat until 100 str and 100 int.
Step Five: Animal Lore
Last step is to finish the skills. Set Arms Lore and Eval Down, and macro Animal Lore on a pet till its GM.
Other options
Kos Heb West (the snow on the upper right of t2a) can be used instead of ice isle. A portion is reachable by going to the snowy death duel pit.
Papua has creatures in and around it for raising tame.
Giant toads can replace bulls - found in Hopper's Bog and Papua.
Swamp Dragons can be used to finish off taming - found in Hopper's Bog
The lower right corner of t2a has cows, hinds, bulls and harts. It's a short run down from the Rooftop Playhouse duel pit
Vet can be raised on the ghost of a bonded pet. The owner must be nearby. Macro a resurrection attempt on the animal, never accept the resurrection until the skill is finished.
Congrats you now have a 7x GM Tamer within 48-72 hours.
