Extended service outage

We're experiencing some extended network interruptions today due to what appears to be a failed core router on the network. This outage was unexpected and has been intermittent for the last 2 hours. We apologize for any interruptions you've experienced and will be working with our upstream providers to remedy the situation.

Well, it appears that throughout the whole mess, at least one portion of any given "network" was functional, giving us the outlet to complain and whine. So I think we were quite okay... Even without the forums up, there's IRC and, of course, the shards themselves. I don't think we went for a moment without at least one of them. :p

And good work at vanquishing the problem so quickly. :)
