Demise Event Guide (updated 06/23/2009)
INTRODUCTION
One of the experiences that Demise offers is a wide range of staff-sponsored events ranging from tournament style events, both PvP and PvM, to story lines comparable to OSI story arcs. The event team understands that Demise houses an international playerbase and will attempt to host events so all timezones are given regular opportunity to participate.
This post serves as a table of contents for the different events the Seer Team, supported by the entire Demise staff, to present a listing of events and the rules for each to the playerbase. This guide is designed to assist players in understanding how the particular events are conducted.
There are four main categories for events: PvP, PvM, non-combat, and storylines and quests. While many of the events solely fit into one category, there are different types of events that may span across more than one of the categories. Below are links to information about each category. Within each category is linked information about specific events held on Demise.

EVENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Events can be scheduled in advance or hosted spontaneously without previous notice. If an event is scheduled, notice is posted as a message in the Events section of the forum. With exception to story lines, events will be announced in game and possibly accompanied by event gates.
Event gates trigger an online gump to appear to all players stating a public event has begun. Also, as people log in while the event gates are open, each is alerted via system message a public event is in progress. An event gate is a shadow colored moongate located near highly populated areas, primarily the different city banks in multiple facets, including Felucca.
TIME CONVERTER
The Demise events are often listed by the EST or PST time zones which are -5 and -8 GMT; however, if you need confirmation on what time an event starts, please the time conversion tools.
