It's not clear if the issue is about tamed pets or about blue creatures i.e. pixies.

Confusion blast:
As a blue, trying to use it on a blue pet which is not guilded nor belongs to me: The attacking pet still attacked.
As a blue, trying to use it on a guilded blue pet, which belongs to me: Both the attacking pet and the mob stopped attacking.
As a red, using it on a wild animal vs my own summon, guilded: Both the attacking pet and the mob stopped attacking.
As a blue, trying to use it on a blue pet which is not guilded nor belongs to me: The attacking pet still attacked.
