Character statue placement

Wondering if anyone has had any luck basically placing a character statue ontop of a custom house pedestal? I've seen it done on osi via statics screenshots but can't seem to figure it out... Can't say I've seen it done on hybrid either so we may be missing something.. Idk any help is appreciated

Maybe use a house deco tool to raise it off the ground and then customize the pedestal under it.
