What all does + 3 mining gloves help with.

Is it just chance to hit ore & higher smelting percentage ?

or does it effect amount/quality mined. speed?

the +3 makes your skill in mining 103 instead of 100, which also means it makes the success-percentage when smelting ore a bit better. in the end it means you end up with a little more ingots than if you would try to smelt with onle 100 mining.

in other words. YES. not sure that you finds more colored ore though. but it improves your smelting percentage.

It doesn't change your odds of mining any more up. But improves your smelting chances. At 100 you have a 50% chance to smelt Valorite. As it is, it is pretty difficult to mine valorite, the last thing you want to do is fail to smelt your hard earned ore.

i believe youalso have a higher percentage of pulling up a colored ore each dig instead of iron. +5 gloves are available as well
