Why not wipe the shitty light/dark themed towns in that facet that i can't remember the name of because i've long since stopped caring.

I would dream of the day we could have a anti cheat system like ex "Sentinel" "VAC"


bonus of it would be everyone runs the same client version , you could still use razor but would limit the use of euo since it would detect any packets that are modified to improve game play so no more pvp script that makes people cast faster then others , would automaticly ban user's to the time set by staff.


it would free up staff's work by 60% alone

Well technically the coders can add public farming already. It is not a matter of cannot. It would be a matter of griefing.

perma death would also be acceptable of the white name thing. But it wouldn't last long for the work it would take to do it. Even the pvp crowd would get tired of being targeted.

Unless an addendum were applied. Only white name toons can perma kill other white name toons. Normal pvp/pnm otherwise.

For someone to realise how popular UO used to be and realise the money they can make off of the AOS xpac ideas.
Imagine if a new game came out....
80%+ similar to uoAOS
better graphics
a few better ideas as how dungeons should be used (NOT INSTANCES LIKE WOW THOUGH)
slightly less gear based
built in pvp games similar to WoW or Rift but more, and more fun types of games.
HARDER TO RUN AWAY IN PVP!!!!!
no items players can pick up can be solid when droped on the ground (walk through any item)
a better "Guantlet" type set up.... perhaps no guantlet at all, but rare spawn monsters randomly in set large locations (ex. a guantlet monster spawning somewhere between minax and hedge maze randomly 3-5 times a day)

i could go on and on and onnnnnnnnnnnnn about the perfect (in my opnion) game...

There are other free servers out there peeking on thousands of players... I wish Demise had a thousand active players...

-Long term quests. Like it used to be on OSI. Quests that span over a month or two and require players to work together......
-As mentioned above a bunch , i miss metal / bone armor being usefull.
-Horse / Ostard / Lama riding requires animal lore
-Horse breeding to get special hue horses , faster horses , etc...
-Duel acceptance system that can be used in trammel , so people can duel interrupted without needing to join guilds....
-make housing something truly special..... limit the places people can place houses....maybe by forming small player run towns and make rural area plots limited. havent thought it through 100% but i dont like seeing all these ugly ass plots all over the place and having a dead housing market.
- real time weather that effects gameplay accordingly
-night time is dark for everyone
- 100% graphic overhaul
- completely demolish Malas (save Doom and throw it in Trammel )

Advertise free account bound skills balls (like soulstones) for a month, add daily/monthly/quarterly uniques/rares to demise (deco) and advertise the shit out of it. Fix guantlet drops. Fix AI. Finish mondains. Advertise the shit out of it. Make a badass video for youtube. Population would increase.

Lower Requirements - using Gold and Dull Copper material should also lower weapon weight (Dull Copper is not magical, it requires less strength precisely because the weapon weighs less - makes sense no?)
One Handed Hatchets - have you ever tried to use a hatchet with two hands?
One Handed Short Spear - for Roman style Pilum and Shield
Spear - with stabbing animation (instead of swinging it)
Archery - animation preceding the shot (not starting after the fact)
Lightning - animation should shoot from the caster to the target (especially when underground)
Water Pitchers - filled from streams and emptied when poured out on the ground
Acid Pools - dying in a (deep) pool of acid should also dissolve your corpse
Acid Puddles- burning your feet on a (shallow) puddle of acid, should not be able to kill you
Bola - should be able to (ensnare small/medium sized game) paralyze mobles
Ghosts - playing as a ghost should have some ghost activities, like haunting a player
Vendors - should be able to also set price/amount ranges for items to buy

Hiding - always turns the character Gray in the p.o.v. of the player (so it appears to them that they always succeed at hiding)
Detect Hidden - leaves the character Gray in the p.o.v. of the stealthed player (so it appears to them that they are still stealthed)
Archery - switches to Wrestling at range zero
Tracking - shows up as actual tracks
Horemanship - helps keep you mounted while galloping or fighting from horseback (maybe just use animal lore)
