Yes. I don't know why I have it so firmly fixed in my head that she is affected. I remember researching this while I was writing up the "Champions Missing Special Attacks" for the Champ Spawn thread in the bugfix section way back when...

Maybe I just got it wrong... :p

read a little from the thread h.miller linked to and it seems the info on those pages (one of em at least) might have changed since you last checked so that could partly be why. but im pretty sure she shouldnt be affected

Could be.

Not really important anyway - especially since this:
I was doing the spawn earlier today, and couldn't honor her, and got AIs for like 50 damage too...
Took me like 1 hour to kill her... :/
and this:
She also seems to have some sort of anti-feint. If you use feint against her, your damage is reduced to half, resulting in 25-30 damage per hit after eoo and perfection.
and this:
Similarly, your damage decreases to the use of armed swampy.

suggest that our Champions are pretty wimpy atm.

Hopefully the new AI will do a lot to turn them all into more of a challenge.

You might also want to look into greater confusion potions. I use them to great effectiveness when i bite off a little more then i can chew. Its like a take 2 giving you 5+ seconds to get rdy. My oh S**t button as i call it has saved me plenty of times, set it up to double click the potion and targetself. It will instantly stop everything in a 7 tile radius from attacking you for 5 seconds + typically a few more for them to retarget.

Wow - yes. I like this "outside-the-box" kind of thinking. If you're going to carry regs or mage scrolls anyway, why not add Confusion pots?

Just don't forget to tick the "Un/re-equip hands for pots" box in Razor Options.

PS Regular Heal pots, on the other hand, are not very helpful because

a) in the time it takes to chug one you could have got in another swing to regen Life anyway without laying yourself open to attacks while you have no weapon equipped..

b) although you are immune to most poisons, you are often momentarily affected by it (until the "you seem unaffected by the poison" msg kicks in), and this can easily screw up the pot Heal attempt.

c) you are going to be permanently Lethaled for the whole of T4 at most spawns anyway.

you dont need a free hand to use the confusion pots. I use them on my spellweaving spawner and have plenty of time to heal back to full and get the jump on them before they can start attacking again.

The characters arent the same but the principles are. Even if you are lethaled you can still use confidence heals to gain 60-70 hp before you re engage and even time to cast a curse weapon if needed. Or just make a complete retreat an have time to refocus.

Absolutely, PH. - 5+ seconds could be a real lifesaver - especially if you've just over-flagged by mistake. You could even use it to get out of LoS again if necessary.

I only mentioned the problems with GHeal pots (and why they wouldn't be as useful as your idea) to add to the basic Sampire info for beginners.

ive sometimes wondered if it should be like this. sounds like a bug
Could be. But it is quite realistic...

I guess another useful tip that was often regarded as common knowledge, atleast in my gaming circles. Seems to have been lost over the years.

If your account is more then 90 days old there is no reason to not have inscribe on a soulstone. The server restarts once a week, so every sunday morning drop it on all of your characters and cast reactive armor + magic reflect for the free resists it gives you. 5 of each elemental resist for free is nothing to laugh at. It makes these hard to reach mods a little more bearable.

im afraid realism in uo was thrown into the garbage can 11 years ago. i dont get why that is realistic anyway but enlighten me if you want to, not that it really matters. to stay on a topic that might though, that auto un/re-equip hands for potions is probably the most unstable feature ive ever seen in any program. might sound like im trying to argue here but im quite sure you know me well enough to know that's not the case

thats what im saying. Most of us older players consider it common knowledge to a point of it never being brought up. So the droves of younger players haven't been able to take advantage of it.

Could you please explain how the reflect/reactive thing works? I am new to AoS and have never heard of this before, I didn't even know you could cast both spells at once. :D

*you put 100 inscription into one
*on sunday after server restart, you put one of your skills into another so you have room to take that 100 inscription
*cast reactive armor and magic reflection (from scrolls if you dont have magery, you need skill bonus items if youre an elf)
*put inscription back into the soulstone. take the other skill back

problem with it that it's bugged and they should be removed upon death but this has been known for a couple of years so it might not be fixed any time soon

Saying its a bug isnt accurate. For years after after AOS it was a one time cast thing, OSI server resets didnt take it off so it was good forever. Atleast til talismans came out.

i guess it's considered a bug right now on demise since it's not like on osi and will get fixed even though it was like this some time on osi

Sorting out my jewelry sets.... have 5 sets I would like to know which one you guys think is best for me.
Ring+Brace + Figure in 20 HCI from banes for total HCI. Also not using HOTL

A) FC2 / FCR2 / HCI 23 / DCI 13
B) FC 2 / FCR 2 / HCI 21 / DCI 13 / DI 9
C) FC2 / HCI 23 / DCI 23 / DI 7
D) FC1 / HCI 23 / DCI 24 / DI 13
E) 25 HCI / 11 DCI / 33 DI

I like the casting speed of 2/2 but maybe the added DCI is more usefull then the higher casting speed?

This obviously until i can reach my goal of FC2 / FCR4 / HCI 25 / DCI 20 (trying to keep it realistic)
