Connecting multiple UOCartographer?

A few of my friends started playing again a little bit here and there and they finally downloaded a map program to see where they're going. The problem is i'm not sure how to connect the maps together so we can see where each other is at.

Is there a program we need to run as host somewhere, or something like that?

UOCServer.exe
Point server to the host's router's IP. Everyone, including host, connects to host's external IP.

Pretty sure UOSteam does the same thing on its map without having to put in ip adresses if you check a box somewhere. I ll post more when I get on later. + you get a ton of easy to work features.

UOSteam will show guild members to you in green, and party members to you in blue via the map.
